Doses larger than 5mg have not been studied in pediatric patients, and therefore the safety of this dosage is not known. Norvasc can be used in combination with other drugs such as nitrates, ACE inhibitors, and beta blockers. Studies have shown that doses of 10mg and under have been generally well tolderated.
