What’s Zestril?


Zestril, one of the lisinopril brand names is a prescription drug under the ACE inhibitor group. It is mainly used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension), heart failure, and improve survival after a heart attack. To do this, it loosens blood vessels thus lowering hypertension and enhancing circulation.


Zestril’s Uses


Essentially, doctors prescribe Zestril largely for hypertension, which is a major risk factor associated with cardiovascular diseases.
